The male's voice sent a chill up her back and made her very essense tremble in fear. To be afraid was nothing to be ashamed of. It is what you do with that fear that decides whether one should be shamed or not. Instictively, the dainty child took flight, her unshod step chasing away the darkness from the terrain wherever she set foot. Perhaps she couldn't fight. Or wouldn't. If she would not fight, then it was best in this case to take flight. Adults were so... uncreative and not to mention slow. She had a few tricks up her proverbial sleeve. Should her blood be spilled, it would prove to be a sort of concecration and a baptism of the lands, healing the wounds the darks had inflicted. No. She would not perish this day or anyday soon.
