†-he shrugged-† It's okay, most fairies don't. Treesongs are the songs that a tree sings when it is feeling an emotion of any kind, such as happiness, sadness, wisdom, the ache of age, or the burst of life. A long time ago people used to always listen to treesongs no matter what they were doing. Treesongs have strong power within living creatures souls, and can make a fairie more lively, more determined, strengthen them, move them to tears, or give advice and wisdom. Unfortunatelly, as the decades went by fairies stopped listening to the treesongs just to hear them and started only to listen when the needed advice of help from a tree. The trees still sing, but they grieve more that they are happy, for no fairie or sprite listens anymore. †-his grin went down to a half smile-† My mo taught me to Listen when I was just five. She told me it was a gift and an art handed down from generation to generation from my great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, something-like-that grandfather, who decided to teach it to his son since the art was dwindling. †-he took a deep breath-† taht was alot of talking, even for me!
