A blast of cool air from a different direction tells Aravis the wind has changed, and Notus had gone, with Boreas taking his brother's place. The colder North Wind tried in vain to pry her dark tendrils from the exquisite braid and circlet. Child of the sea laughs, a peal of bubbling, flowing sound lovely on the ear. Infinite blue-green pools sparkle as Boreas's rough attempts yeild no result from her crimpy, shining locks. She leaps to the air, laughing joyfully, and soars straight into the cold gust, webbed blue-frosted dragonfly wings fighting against it in a playful battle for power. She pushes against the strong breeze challengingly, eyes dancing. Letting herself float gently to the ground, she watches delightedly at her new friend's joy in the gift from Mayleena, glad that Michelle is happy, her finely boned elfin face flushed with laughter as always.
