The sun kissed phina pressed muzzle in the hair of the female. The sun warm beat down upon pelt. Light zephyr lifted locks tossing them in the wind about her skull. Tuft of ivory coloring pon' thorns twitched lightly.

She sighed and thought to herself. 'Back for now my little one but how long until you leave again. Now Basil is no longer with you your saftey is questioned.'

Femora struggled and stood she had rested long enough. Her petite dial lowered to peer into the ooids of that of her child. There she read the messages hidden in them and smiled softly. Pressing her head forward the the star on her forehead lay agaisnt the woman's shoulder she sighed.

Katie, m'dear I love you more then the world can imagine but what I see is not that you will return to Hopeful Valley with me.

Her cranium raised alabaster misted muzzle turned to look behind her. She observed the road that lay winding out a small part of her yearning to follow it. But, the bigger half realized she had two foals back home. One was in the Queen's Contest and the other waited for her in P.I. She lightly shook her head and lifted it a smile curving lightly upward features. Ivory tassel twitched as she turned her bodice turning gracefully.

Good-bye my dear Katie forever you shall have a home in Hopeful Valley. My love goes allows with you.

Again she turned facing a path that turned her back to the horses that she belonged with. That she knew where she was needed and loved. For a moment a thought turned to Fire Cry and she braced herself not to tear. A sigh was heaved as she told herself not to turn back. Don't look back she said to herself. Don't look at her or you'll never let her go easily. She moved into a trot dial lowered sadly but did not turn back. The fairies would help her if she needed anymore and there was no more she could do. At the end of the turn that would forever block Katie from her view she stopped for only a second dial turned ooids glistened like diamond's in the setting sun. She turned again and broke into a canter and disappeared.
