按照香港賽馬會的例行程序，二○一一年三月二十日星期日沙田賽馬日各場賽事的獲勝馬匹，均須提供尿液及血液樣本。因此，當日勝出威利高讓賽的「沙紙」被循例抽取了尿液及血液樣本。

馬會賽事化驗所主管溫思明博士今日通知競賽董事小組，「沙紙」所提供的賽後血液樣本，經化驗後發現含有氯胺酮 (ketamine)及去甲氯胺酮 (norketamine)，而其賽後尿液樣本則發現含有去氫去甲氯胺酮 (dehydronorketamine)及去甲氯胺酮。去甲氯胺酮及去氫去甲氯胺酮均為氯胺酮的代謝物。

「沙紙」的練馬師姚本輝今日獲通知此項化驗結果。至於轉介樣本(B樣本)將交由哪一家獨立正式賽事化驗所進行化驗，則尚待確定。

此宗事件現押後至另訂日期處理。
