Subject: 柏寶解釋蓮華生輝跑法......

被查詢有關「蓮華生輝」的騎法，特別是過了六百米處後的騎法時，柏寶說，過了一千米處後，「蓮華生輝」靠近「富貴金龍」後蹄處於窘境，當時「富貴金龍」勒避「時尚風采」後蹄。

他說，其後「蓮華生輝」佔取「富貴金龍」後面位置，並跟隨該駒直至接近七百米處，當時「富貴金龍」將頭轉側，向內移入至「活力飛駒」外側的第三疊位置。他說，他留意到「富貴金龍」由此時起持續將頭轉側，他認為此駒外閃。他說，據他所知，「富貴金龍」過去曾有在陣上外閃的紀錄。他又說，過了六百米處後當「蓮華生輝」走勢暢順時，考慮到「富貴金龍」的走勢，他讓「蓮華生輝」在「富貴金龍」後蹄內側推進，而不持續在「富貴金龍」後面競跑。他說，他覺得「富貴金龍」轉直路彎時會持續外閃，在直路早段將製造機會予「蓮華生輝」在該駒內側推進。

他說，入直路後不久，在「富貴金龍」與「活力飛駒」之間快將出現空位，然而，當他嘗試佔取此空位時，由於「活力飛駒」被「飛闖」帶向外跑，「富貴金龍」與「活力飛駒」之間的空位因而消失。他說，因此「蓮華生輝」未能望空直至接近二百五十米處。

小組告誡柏寶，縱然「富貴金龍」曾兩度因外閃而賽後被小組著令須在轉彎途程上試閘及格後才可再次出賽，小組認為他容許坐騎推進至「富貴金龍」內側，而不保持在該駒後面並在直路上在移至該駒外側暢通無阻、沒有受到干擾的空位，是錯誤的決定。小組譴責柏寶，並告誡他須確保盡可能採取令坐騎能望空及暢通無阻的騎法。
