國泰航空香港瓶參賽馬匹 - 「喜聚寶」

獸醫事務主管（賽事管制及國際聯絡）施卓華醫生，今晨於受薪董事小組指示下，在方嘉柏馬房檢查國泰航空香港瓶（一級賽-二四○○米）參賽馬「喜聚寶」。方嘉柏於12月9日星期二通知小組，「喜聚寶」前一天早上試跑後右前腳疼痛，正由釘甲匠進行料理。方嘉柏說，「喜聚寶」星期一早上進行試跑，是牠備戰國泰航空香港瓶的最後一次快操，而在週日賽事之前，「喜聚寶」並未有因傷而缺席其計劃內任何一次試跑。他說，「喜聚寶」出現疼痛後即以游泳代替慢操。

施卓華醫生告知小組，他檢查「喜聚寶」時發現該駒右前腳仍因有瘀傷而感到疼痛。他說，該駒現正繼續由馬房診療獸醫及釘甲匠進行料理。

「喜聚寶」將於12月13日星期六早上接受獸醫進一步檢查。
