與姚本輝解約 馬偉昌轉任公司騎師（2008-12-30）

【明報專訊】今季成績差強人意的姚本輝與馬偉昌這對將帥組合，定於在周日賽事後拆夥。姚本輝今季聘馬偉昌為帥，騎練於季前對前景均充滿期滿，可惜二人合作三個多月，馬偉昌不但未能為波士贏得頭馬，上陣103次，更只憑方嘉柏馬房的「競駿精英」取得1W而已，另得6亞15季8殿。至於姚廄頭馬數字亦不及上季同期，季內暫累積5W。

周日賽事後拆夥

騎練雙方面均面對沉重壓力，昨日正式申請解約，於1月4日周日賽事後生效。元旦及周日賽事，馬偉昌仍掛名為姚廄主帥，惟周四元旦戰，姚廄5匹戰馬便只得頭場的「綠駿群英」交由馬偉昌主轡。而馬偉昌將申請轉任公司騎師，據悉獲批機會甚高。
