韋健仕獲發馬會騎師牌照

牌照委員會今天以文件傳閱方式進行審批，同意向韋健仕發給馬會騎師牌照，有效期由2009年1月22日至2008/2009年度馬季結束為止。

韋健仕現年二十五歲，自1999年七月獲准策騎出賽以來，已合共勝出二百二十八場頭馬。他在完成見習騎師階段後，於2004年2月7日獲發騎師牌照。

韋健仕曾於2008年勝出冬季錦標(Absolute Glam)及勇倫霸錦標(「多樂谷」)兩項一級賽。他亦曾贏得四項二級賽，分別為沙理嘉錦標(「常威勁」)、杜樂錦標(「福音名駒」)、藍寶石錦標(Belong To Many)及滿利谷金盃(「綠茵馳騁」)。此外，他亦曾勝出三項三級賽，包括於2006年策騎「環球航線」贏得在新加坡舉行的珍寶型機錦標，以及攻下七項表列賽。2007年，韋健仕主策「多樂谷」在一級賽考菲爾德盃中奪得亞軍。

他亦曾在馬來西亞(約三十場頭馬)及新加坡(三十二場頭馬)取得理想成績。韋健仕報稱其出賽造磅為一一六磅，加上可容許的超磅，他可接受負一一四磅坐騎的策騎聘約。

韋健仕於辦妥例行手續後，將可接受1月24日星期六沙田賽事的策騎聘約。


（註：「福音名駒」已於較早前來港服役，現名為「聖駒」，烙號K255，由方嘉柏訓練。）
