冼毅力（「零距離」）在小組著令其留在馬場出席小組研訊後，仍在未獲小組批准下離開馬場，小組就此事的原因展開研訊。

冼毅力解釋，他起初留在馬場約一小時，但由於小組研訊仍未召開，他決定返回住所。冼毅力否認一項未有服從幹事發出的正常指令的指控，而在回應指控時，他承認他起初向小組所述的離開馬場理由與事實不符。

冼毅力說，他離開馬場的真正理由是因鼠蹊受傷需服止痛藥。小組認為指控成立，就此項違例判處冼毅力罰款二萬元。

[賽事規例第12(33)條]。在研訊正式結束前，冼毅力在未經批准下離開研訊室。小組著令冼毅力停止策騎出賽，直至他出席審議其行為的研訊為止。

因此，冼毅力將不獲批准履行五月三日星期日沙田賽事的策騎聘約。
