六項一級賽盟主「狄倫」，星期二凌晨從日本運抵香港，準備競逐國泰航空香港瓶。隨行的岳伯仁馬房領班Pat Keating表示，旅程一切順利，對「狄倫」毫無影響。

Keating謂：「從日本檢疫馬房到香港沙田馬場的旅程約需十一小時。牠早已習慣南征北討，所以很快便能安頓下來。」

今仗將會是「狄倫」退役轉作種馬之前的最後一戰。二○○七年，牠勝出根利錦標、英皇錦標、愛爾蘭冠軍錦標（連續第二年）和凱旋門大賽。上週更獲頒歐洲年長冠軍賽駒榮銜。

與此同時，剛贏得澳洲本年度最佳馬匹榮銜的「安小姐」，亦從墨爾本運抵本港，準備出爭十二月九日的國泰航空香港短途錦標。「安小姐」如能順利奪標更可兼得世界最佳短途賽駒美譽。

菲特文馬房隨行主管Scott Magee說：「『安小姐』飛港旅程順暢，一切安然無恙。牠今早只會進行慢踱，輕舒步頭，目前狀態很好。」
