「綠色駿威」將競逐十二月九日的國泰航空香港短途錦標。戴圖理已答允冠軍練馬師方嘉柏的邀請，屆時為該駒執韁出賽。

「綠色駿威」曾於二○○六年十月在墨爾本出爭史利士錦標（1000米二級賽），僅以一馬位之差見負於澳洲本年度最佳馬匹「安小姐」蹄下；兩駒將於下週再度一決雌雄。「綠色駿威」在港出賽七次，贏得一次頭馬，且上季曾在三級賽沙田銀瓶中跑入亞席。

「綠色駿威」的參戰，令國泰航空香港短途錦標的參賽馬匹數目達到十四匹的最高限額。
