Subject: 409 boat motors

The boat is a 1964 38' Pacemaker aft cabin. The motors are 409 Crusader marine. There was a sticker on the valve cover that read 280 hp. They are beautiful engines and they run great, but finding Crusader parts is difficult. I am scrapping the boat so I am going to yank them out as soon as it warms up a bit. Tell me more about your motors. I may have some literature that may be of some help to you. MB
