In a real battle, this youngster would be dead within an hour of battle. Steed circles the flame-licked steed with concentration. Even though this was a mock battle, he still needed to know and plan his every move. Dark bay steed lashes suddenly at the flame licked steed, rearing up and slashing at his neck with both forehooves, a manuever hard to do...He stands poised for the chestnut brute to respond...He might respond in anger or he might be controlled. Who would know?...†*
