The filly quickly ducks away from the hooves after getting hit a few times. She sadly watches as the vixen continues to beat the earth. She turns, limping slightly on one of her legs, hoping it isn't broken, and wlaks away, knowing with a feeling of grief that the mare would not listen. She stops, lowering her head, and stands there, defeated. She has lost all purpose, as obviously she couldn't help this vixen. Mother, what have I done?She thinks. She slowly lays down, licking her wounds, healign them, and carefully settling her foreleg so as she won't hurt it. She sighs, and falls off into a dreamless sleep.
