OK, let me answer some questions that i picked up from you on the way here. no, Lysator has NOT gone insane- he really did swear to give his life if need be to protect her. he will be fine eventually, but a broken-bond takes a while to get over which is probably why he did not kill the hawk who tried to leave a present in his hair.

Lysator related the story a while back. and Avalon wished me to apologize for her absence, she has been acting as an envoy to her people and now has to deal with them. she will be coming back to this world for a long needed vacation, that she is severely over-due for.
