He pauses in his movement, a quiet arrest of motion and a lift of the head ... a lazy turn of utterly unthreatened gaze toward the mare.

She nodded slighlty as the male wolf thing spoke. She relaxed slightly as he stopped, allowing her head to follow his movements carefully. As he finished speaking she thought for a moment and then replied. "I've not seen any mare fitting your discription, and if she doesn't have a name, I'm afraid, I can not help you find the one you seek. Now if you have nothing further to be said, I think you should leave, Sir. There is nothing for you here." She said, bravly and blankly. Standing tall, fearful, but strong.

She sighed but was secretly proud of herself for standing up to the huge fanged wolf thing. Looking down to Leroy she began to speak. "Le..I think we should call the herd togeather...warn them that this...thing is on the prowl, that they should keep their eyes out for it. What do you think Le?" She said, still watching the desending form of the wolf creature.
