Wow....Not many ppl find time to post on here do they? I understand that everyone has a job and a life. I just now found out about this message board thanks to Roberto. I drive a truck for a living and found out just this week about J.W.'s injury. If anybody talks to him, please tell him that I am praying for him and hope to see him in Kansas City in July! Well, I mean, I don't ever get to go to any PBR events, as I am a college student / part-time library worker in Queens, New York (soon to move to Long Island). But I mean, I hope J.W. is back soon. But what sucks is that even after he is healthy again, he'll have to earn his way back onto the BFTS tour (as he was officially dropped). I'd hate to see him miss the Finals this year. Good luck to him and may he be healthy in no time!

"It has been brought to my attention that someone has been visting the websites of several pro bull riders for the purpose of copying the pictures, transferring them to magnets and then trying to sell them on eBay. Not only is this person stealing from the individual bull rider's websites, they are also stealing copywrited photos from the PBR website. This will not be tolerated. Action will be taken to protect the rights of the bull riders and those who's photos are being used, without permission, for profit.
Please dont buy any of these magnets!"

In round 1 he's got Don Kish's McNasty, who has a rating of 22.9, and has bucked off both guys that have been on him (Dave Samsel and Ross Coleman). In round 2, J.W. has Winston Loe and Terry Williams' Pandora's Box, who, as we know, is the newest superstar in the PBR, has only been ridden once (by Luke Snyder), and has a rating of 22.6. I read on the PBR website that J.W. placed second at the Calgary Stampede with a 92 point ride, one point behind winner Justin Volz. They will also be competing in the Cheyenne Frontier Days later on this month. Good Luck to both of them especially our guy J.W.

When was the Calgary Stampede, and when will Cheyenne be? I know OLN will be broadcasting Cheyenne which is good news, but I didnt realize JW was going to take part in it so thats even better news! Who from the PBR besides JW is participating?

Hi alls!
It seems that everytime I come to this board its DEAD. I know that JW is taking some time off and so forth but, dang do his fans take a day off also (I'm also a fan). Does anyone have any GOOD or UNUSUAL stories to tell about JW or any other bull rider? Share them with us. Some people who have never been to a PBR event,Party or gathering (myself) would like to hear of fun, loving, roping, budweiser drinking guys having fun. It beats having to see the same message day in and out about an outrageously devoted fan wanting to see him (P.S there's nothing wrong with voicing your love, caring and undeniable desire for someone). Well, it's hot as heck in Wisconsin and I need some air-so talk to y'alls later.

I'm the one that used to do JWs fan club. It has been disbanded (much to my disappointment). The post office box that is listed is NOT a good address any longer. I don't know who is the webmaster of this site, but if you will contact me I'll give you my address where the fans might send cards or letters to JW and I can forward them on. The Springdale event is a really great event. JW never enters this event . But there are always some great cowboys with some great bullriding.

I was wondering when tickets will be on sale for J.W.'s challenger tour event and how I go about purchasing one. It looks like this will be the only event that I can attend this season. The PBR only comes close to where I live now (Indiana) in October or so ( they come to Ohio) and by then I will be in Texas ( moving to Texas in August). So I am really looking forward to attending this event. I will definetly be going to several PBR events next year though. Well, if you know any information on tickets and etc. the please let me know,

J.W. Hart, Ultra Wheels cowboy, 26, Marietta, Okla., has drawn the bull Hammer Time, owned by Hal Burns. "I don't know this particular Hammer Time but if he's as good as the other ones with that name, I should be in good shape," said Hart. "I got on a bull today and I felt fine, so I'm looking forward to Billings."
Hart on Billings "We get a good crowd in Billings," said Hart. "They are a lot like the crowds from home, they don't get to emotional because they are use to seeing good cowboys and good stock. They are foundation people you know salt of the earth."
Last year in BillingsHart bucked off in the first round, was 85 points in the second and did not qualify for the short, placing him 23rd in the average.
Mossy Oak Shootout Ace of Hearts is the bull for this Friday's Shootout bounty, currently at $20,000. Ace of Hearts has been ridden only five times out of the 15 times he has been bucked in the PBR, for a percentage of 33. He has an average score of 87 points and a judges rating of 21.7 out of a possible 25. "I don't know him but if he's the bounty bull, he most be a tough one to ride," said Hart.

J.W. Hart, Ultra Wheels cowboy, 26, Marietta, Okla., tore the groin muscle in his left leg. He will be out of competition for two weeks then he'll be reevaluated to see when he can return. "I went to the gym this week; it's been raining a lot at home so there's not much else to do," said Hart. "I was surprised that I couldn't lift very much with my leg. I've never had weak legs but that's an awful big muscle I've damaged. I'm going to make sure I'm right before I get back on any bulls," said Hart.

I was devastated when I watched Saturday night. I was really pulling for J.W. all around this season, not just in continuing his streak but in his hunt for a World Championship this year. Well, I went all the way to Ft. Worth Saturday to see J.W. I was so disappointed that he wasn't able to ride,but it was a good show anyway. The USATODAY selected the top ten toughest sports for the past 12 days and we were told the Bull Riding was in the top 15, but did not make the list unfortunately. They are now asking for the nation to tell them what sport they think is the toughest. Please send an email to sports@usatoday.com letting them know bull riding is the hardest and toughest. We believe we can generate between 500,000 and 1,000,000 emails to the USATODAY and by getting this type of response, it will spark their curiosity of the fan base of the sport of bull riding. Go to his official website at championbullriders.com, stay tuned there and they will give you the number to call to order tickets. Let me warn you in advance, IT IS THE BEST FREAKIN' event you will go to this year! I went last year and had the best time,especially since J.W. split the win with Justin. Also, make sure you get a reserved seat ticket, they were only 35.00 last year and if you get there about an hour early you will pretty much have your choice of seats. It's an outdoor arena with bleachers, no seats! IT ROCKED. I will be there too!

Well really the easiest way to go about meeting JW is to either go to a PBR event and meet him after the event or if your lucky enough like I was to get to see him at an after party. But you could also see if he's signing autograph's anywhere. He's a sweet heart and a little bit shy at first so you may have to talk to him if you would like to get a picture taken, if you see him after an event. Well hope this helps you a little bit.

I am sort of new to the PBR. I have become I guess what you call a die-hard fan this past season. I love to watch it on OLN. I have not missed watching an event yet. I have always loved watching rodeos and bull riding in particular ever since I was a little girl. I just never had the chance to really become involved with it because it was not a big thing where I grew up although my Dad is a big fan. I was wondering if there is any other places that these boys ride other than in the BFTS events and how you would go about finding out about those events. Also, I will hopefully be moving to Austin, Texas in August and I was wondering if anyone might know where I can find out about rodeos in Texas. I don't know if there is a website than lists rodeos in the Texas or anywhere near Texas or if anyone just knows where there are some good ones to watch. I really just love to watch and be around the rodeo and more recently the PBR. If anyone lives in Texas or near Austin and knows where some rodeos are I would really appreciate it if they would let me know. If you know then you can just email me. THe whole segment was done in fun, and that's what it was meant to be, FUN. If PBR fans start complaining about something that was done in fun, no other network or any other show is going to want to do things on the PBR because of complaints from their fans. Bottom line, people are working hard to get national exposure for the PBR. Complaining about it because it wasn't favorable to you is not the answer.

First, I would like to express my extreme admiration for JW's "iron" tough rides this weekend in St. Louis. Every time I see him ride, I am amazed at his abilities, and this weekend was no different. I must admit I was hesitant to have him ride again on Sunday, but he showed how amazingly tough and ready this cowboy is! I admire your dedication, JW!! Good luck in the future events, I'll be cheering you on, as usual!!!!
Also, I understand some of the fans frustrations with the portrayal of the PBR on Jay Leno. However, at this point, the PBR can use all the publicity it can get! The tonight show was doing this in FUN, with the object being to get people to realize that bull riding is a tough sport, and that the cowboys go above and beyond to pursue their passions. I, as a loyal PBR fan, want the cowboys to get the recognition they are so deserving of and work so hard for. We want to show the world that our PBR cowboys are the greatest and deserving of more recognition that one person can possibly imagine, thus we, the die-hard PBR fans, have to accept some of the negative publicity in order for the PBR to rise above and beyond -- I have so much faith in this establishment of riders, and I know that they are working hard to get recognition for the cowboys!! However, they are already great in my book! Ride on, JW!!!!

Rob Smets being down was awfully scary and then J.W., When that bull smacked heads with him, and how out of it he looked when he was sitting up after he got flung off!! Man he really is the Iron man or the Crazy Man, after being out of it for I dont know how long, he still gets back on a bull the next night!!!! He is my Hero!!!!

Sooo. For those of you die hard fans who love the PBR this show was kind of a bust in the exposure department. Gary Richards, Ross Coleman, and JW were the only ones to ride a bull. Justin McBride wasnt even there. And he was kind of crude..like asking if cowboys have big ones...or if Ross was wearing a cup! Ross at least had the decency to blush. The way they hosted them was fine its just the comments that Jimmy and Adam Carolla made were a little off. The only truly good thing Jimmy really said was he was constantly promoting the event this weekend in Anaheim.

Well, I was in Shreveport Friday night and I went to the Horseshoe casino to find J.W. and talk to him (and maybe flirt a little!) and there was a tall brunette with him, they weren't all lovey dovey but they were together and they walked out of the casino together, so....On the bright side, they never did hold hands or anything so maybe there is still some hope for the rest of us! I keep telling myself that she was just his cousin! HA!HA! Talk later ya'll!

Dang! That report made me queazy! He is one fine cowboy -- and one of the few single ones on the pbr tour. I will keep my eyes posted for ay sightings- going to philly, baltimore and raleigh!

J.W. Hart, Ultra Wheels cowboy, 26, Marietta, Okla., has drawn the bull Johnny Be Good, owned by TNT Rodeo Company. "Mitch Harold owns him and that's about all I know," said Hart. "Mitch has some good ones, so I'm looking forward to getting on him."
Impressive Record Hart is holding strong to his "Iron man" record of competing in every PBR event since he entered the tour in 1995a total of 186, to date. Some have noticed there is a little controversy on J.W.'s streak number. We are having the PBR do the appropriate research and will give out the exact numbers as soon as we are sure.
Johnny Be Good Johnny Be Good is ranked 29th out of the 45 bulls in the first round. He has a judge's rating of 21.3 and average score of 86.5 and has been ridden 100% of the times he has been bucked at a PBR event.
Hart on Greensboro "This bull riding is named after a damn good body of mine, Jerome Davis," said Hart. "I always like to come and hang out with him."
Mossy Oak Shootout For the Friday night performance, the Mossy Oak Shootout bounty is $5,000. The bull, Sling Blade, has not been ridden in the 16 trips he has made to PBR events. "It's about time he gets a chance at some glory," said Hart. "He bucks and has been bucking ever since the first event they brought him to last year. He tries hard and that makes a bull great." Sling Blade is owned by Robbie Herrington from the Herrington Cattle Company "One thing I'll predict," said Herrington. "Is he'll be unpredictable."

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (January 10, 2003) The Professional Bull Riders (PBR) and the Pro Bull Riding Outreach organization are joining together to establish the Beni Paulson fund.
On January 8, 2003, professional bull rider Beni Paulson's wife, son, daughter and mother-in-law were in a serious car accident. His wife, Lisa, and 6-week-old daughter were thrown from the car. His wife, Lisa, is in a sedated coma from which she may soon be released. His daughter, however, did not survive the accident. The fund will assist Paulson and his family with medical expenses. Donations can be sent to Pro Bull Riding Outreach, P.O. Box 619, Wickenburg, AZ 85358. Please make checks to Pro Bull Riding Outreach with Paulson Family in the memo.
Lisa suffered a fractured skull, a broken neck, a broken pelvis and various injuries to her ribs and spleen. According to Paulson, the prognosis for Lisa is positive. It appears as though her injuries will not have a long-term, permanent effect. Beni's son, Cheyden, and mother-in-law escaped the accident without injury. Cheydens innocence and laughter have been the center of the familys stability throughout the last days of tragedy

Last Year in Worcester Hart bucked off his bull, placed 22nd in the second
round, was not eligible for the short round (only the top 15 progress), placing him 32nd in the average.

Hart gave it a great effort this weekend at the Mohegan Sun event and carried over his winning momentum from the World Championships. Although he only missed winning the event by one point, strong results from the first two rounds gained him enough points to take the lead in the Built Ford Tough Series points race.

"I outdrew everyone this weekend except maybe Chris in the short round," said Hart. "My first bull was a little sore and he didn't buck to his full potential. My second one was good and solid. The flank fell off my short round bull and no one caught it until they saw it on TV, we all wondered whyhe quit right there at the end."

J.W. Hart Championship Challenge Hart won his U.S. Smokeless Tobacco Touring Pro event last weekend held in Gainesville, Tex.
J.W. Hart, Ultra Wheels cowboy, 26, Marietta, Okla., has drawn the bull Fear
Factor, owned by Troy Brown. "I don't have a clue about this bull," said
Hart. "But if he's anything like the TV show and he lives up to his name it
should be a great bull riding. I'm just glad I don't have to eat pig brains
before I get on him."
Fear Factor Fear Factor is ranked 41st out of the 45 bulls in the first
round. He has a judge's rating of 20.7 out of a possible 25 points and has an
average score of 83 points. He has only been bucked once at a PBR event.
Last Year at Reno Hart bucked off his first bull, placed second in the
second round, and did not qualify for the short round, which placed him 17th
in the average.
Hart on Reno "It's another Lazy E event," said Hart. "My luck has been
getting a little better at their events because I did win part of Guthrie this year."
Mossy Oak Shootout This weekend the pot is $60,000 and the bounty bull is
Sugar Bear, owned by Corey & Horst Rodeo Co. Sugar Bear has been bucked eight times, has been never ridden and has a bull rating of 22.6 out of a possible 25. "I had Sugar Bear in the short round in Nampa this year," said Hart. "He was supposed to go to the left but he faked right, then went to the left and bucked me off. This time if I get a chance at him, I'll wait on him just a little bit longer to come a round to the left (like he's supposed to), then
I'll ride him."

Well, I went to J.W.'s event Saturday. It was AWESOME! Did anyone else get to go? I have been to several PBR events this year and that was definately THE BEST one, I am going to make it a yearly thing. J.W. and Justin McBride split the win. Hey. Guthrie was amazing. We had a ball. We do that every year. Langston's for the autograph party, Cattleman's for steak and to the Lazy E for some great bull riding action. I was so proud of JW. He really came thru in the pinch and got himself up in the standings. He was sure riding sore. He's got more heart.....

Ok I have to SAy that the new broadcast team was pretty good but i really wish they woulda kept Pam i liked Pam alot better than i do Kandace. But Justin Mckee and Tuff were good announcers. What did y'all think?
