once upon a time.. a shot rang out.. How can this end happily ever after?

(His leathery brown eyes were a much darker shade than normal, and his step was much heavier than normal, but his sense of humor never faded... Okay, so maybe he wanted to shoot himself in the head and end it all - and he damned the country several times over for the grace period on gun purchase, but that would wait. For some reason, he was doing something he hated - turning to someone else for help. Maybe Kato could fix the world for him, but he sure as hell wouldnt turn him in to the po's - which was his main goal at the moment. Leaning on the door, he sucked in his pride and knocked once, the movement drawing on the wound in his side and making him groan.. he had lied about not being in severe pain.. or he would lie in a couple minutes..)

Cassie and Kato were out apartment hunting, so here she was - the ever permenant babysitter. Kesi was shreaking yet again, this time at the puppy who was running around and barking. She sighed quietly as she dropped the blood covered rag back into the bowl she had brought out, his side now cleaned up a little bit.
