Twenty-six months, eleven days - he could count to the very minute how long he had been in prison. He was nearly trembling in anticipation as he raised a hand up to knock softly on the door - she didn't know that he'd even applied, let alone been granted, parole, he hadn't expected to get it and didn't want to get her hopes up. The last couple months had been good to him - working long hours of community service had built up his already well-toned body, and he had been trying his hardest to stay positive. Shaved head held high, he turned to stand with his back to the door as he waited anxiously - dark gaze eating up the real world... This was the day he had dreamed of all day and every night for the past two years.

Jax was barking excitedly, the lankey pup got excited over everything - ending up in him stepping on his own floppy ears, making him whimper and run to Kesi for comfort. "Jax!" She looked down at the confused little girl, nodding at her supportivly before the bright blue eyed doll looked over to the dark man in front of her, hands lifting to pat his cheek. "Jax?"
