Subject: Is perfection necessary?
In reply to: mt. healthy mountaineer 's message, "Re: :)" on 15:16:27 03/20/02 Wed

I will never attain these things in my lifetime because no one ever does. Have you met the perfect person?

Is perfection that necessary? We weren't created to be perfect people, so why all the effort toward something we cannot be? I think it is better to strive toward excellence than perfection. Striving toward perfection only leads to disheartenment. Striving toward excellence is motivational.

Why is perfection such a goal?
