According to the Indianapolis Star (4-4-02), one of these priests is in Evansville, IN. But, his parish knew about his past troubles (child porn) and the jail time (one year) and still wanted him to be their priest. Unlike the other priests who were secretly placed, this was quite open. He is also registered as a sex offender with the county sheriff, as required by Indiana law.

The parish seems to be irritated because this situation is being lumped in with the others and it does have some interesting twists to distinguish it.

Personally, if the man still wanted to work in the Church, and I was the Bishop, I would have found him a job where there would be no contact w/children. For example, the Catholic church has a media arm and they need priests to supervise publications and double-check things for radio broadcasts, etc.
