Subject: I personally have no problem with Microsoft.

Have I used other OS's in the past? Yes. I have two years Sun's Solaris (SunOS---unix) experience and I've used HPux (HP variant) for about a year. Unfortunately, that was three years ago, otherwise, I'm sure I could find a decent job.

I've only used linux once. I recently set up a virtual linux machine on my XP box. Seeing if I could network the two and access the internet.

The last other major computer I've used (beside the c64/apple/whatnot) was the old IBM mainframes. Talk about complicated. If you think unix is bad...egad...this was a nightmare.

So, from what little knowledge I have, I love Microsoft's product support. I also like it when people find exploits and posts them to the internet. This is a nice thing to do, otherwise..... So, Microsoft fixes them, or tries to.

One note, the entire windows OS is written in C (though, perhaps assembly or whatnot for the boot strap).

Think of the millions of lines of code they have to go through.

If none of this is relative, feel free to skip this post. I think I got off topic.
