I disagree about raising taxes on corporations. An econ 101 class will show you that almost all corporate taxes are simply passed on to the consumer in the form of higher prices.

Right - which lowers disposable income, and can help fight inflation if needed (and I am not arguing that it is or isn't). It is a rather filtered approach to achieving the same end.


Forgive my lack of understanding, but isn't higher prices the same thing as inflation? And if so, how do you combat inflation by causing prices to be raised?
