I thought you would like them -- I only found out about them a couple weeks ago. I did online searches to read reviews -- and found they were highly rated. I did find the main attraction of the second DVD a bit disappointing and could see why a series did not come from the pilot -- but the short "The Terrible Old Man" more than made up for that minor problem.

I have a copy of the Haunted Palace, and ordered a copy of "Re-Animator" which I know was a bit over the top, yet Lovecraft wrote the original to be that way so I do not have a problem with it being over-the top. Most Lovecraft movies tend to really butcher the source material -- but there are a few I've found worth getting, and this whole set has been more than worth getting. Usually I found movies based upon Lovecraft themes to be better (The Thing, for example), but these, although a bit expensive, are worthy additions of my DVD collection.

I would rate my favorites from all three to follow:
Out of Mind
Cool Air
Terrible Old Man
Music of Erich Zann - probably one of the most faithful adaptations possible just a bit short at 15 mins.

The Joshi interviews are ok, but it makes Joshi almost seem like he is trying to sound like a scholar...
