Kerry's plan, in theory, is that lowering corporate taxes will encourage job growth here in the states. I also believe Adilbrand may be somewhat mistaken when he says that lowering taxes will invigorate the econonomy. As I understand it lowering the deficits is the main key to enlivening the economy, and the best way to achieve this is shrink the government and increase taxes, even if it is for a short term, say 5-10 years.

Though I will also admit that I am not as informed as some, this seems a sensible route...
