Author: Mt. Healthy Mountaineer, your intrepid reviewer
Subject: ANHOW Review of books: Brain Child by John Saul

Published 1985 by Bantam Books

Synopsis:

High school junior Alex Lonsdale has everything going his way: great girlfriend, popular, decent grades, cool parents. But, he is in danger of losing it all because of a near-fatal car crash that leaves his brain severely damaged. He is taken to a reclusive specialist who saves his life but Alex is not the same as he once was.

Throw in some ancient intrigue and a healthy dose of revenge and you've got the other elements that compose this book.

My review:

This is a decent read - not meaningful, not life-changing but definitely a page-turner. A good summer read.

I give this book a "B"

Below is my link to the amazon.com page, which includes a more extensive review by someone named "Darkgenius" that I agree with so thoroughly that I will not bother to post my own review on that page. Also, check out the review entitled "Pass--easy--bad" and see if you can figure out what the reviewer is trying to say.
