Ok, I finally decided to order a copy of the complete collection of Howard's Lovecraftian stories -- from the Chaosium edition. I find the series that Chaosium has produced is fabulous, and I already have two of them I found at Half-Priced books, one on the Hathur Cycle, and the other on the Necronomicon. I should have also bought the Bloch volume when I had a chance, since it was sold the next time I went to the store.

I will let you know what I think, since I knew of the stories, but never read them. I've read quite a few of the letters Lovecraft wrote to Howard now (I have Vol III and IV of Lovecraft's letters), and I do expect, I will like Howard's tales.

Do you know a good source for Clark Asthon's stories? And rereading "The Whisper in the Darkness" today, I now know, having read the letters to Clark, that Lovecraft put an in joke in the story, since he refers to the name that Lovecraft and Clark used amongst themselves as the name of the high priest of Atlantis.
