Howard did plan on writing more... but his suicide rather interrupted most of his literary plans.
The bookclub edition of "Red Nails" has some good stories in it. I particularly liked the title story. The first story in it, "Beyond the Black River" is a departure in many ways from the traditional Conan story - which results in some people liking it a lot, and other people not liking it at all.
I am going to have to look for the Chaosium volume you spoke of. It sounds excellent.
