Subject: A clarification on an old religion & public schools discussion

This was in a magazine I received a while back. It reminded me of a discussion we had last year. Rather than drag the whole discussion back up to the top of the pile, here is a link to my answer to someone's convoluted understanding of this issue: click here.

The Department of Education has recently issued a new set of guidelines, as required by the "No Child Left Behind Act" of 2001. Their interpretation so completely dovetails with my previous understanding that I was, quite frankly, a little surprised.
