The game is called angband. There are quite a few variants. I play with a version called sangband, which is a skills based angband. Now, when one first looks at the game, it may seem rather boring, but, after the 1st five minutes I was adicted.

Ports are for the following:
Windows
Windows CE
MS-DOS
Macintosh
Amiga
RISC OS
OS/2
Linux
BeOS
Atari
Silicon Graphics
Solaris

And if one of these is not your OS, they always include the source where you can compile it to your favorite OS.

Pending on which build you download, it is around 1.9mb to 2.5 mbs.

Highly Recommended. This blows away any PS2, XBox, and other PC type of game.
