You need to run task manager (CTRL+ALT+DEL) and goto processes. End the MSBLAST.EXE process. Then do a search for the file MSBLAST.EXE and delete it. Apply the patch and you should be relatively OK. For full safety, download and run the FIXBLAST.EXE available from the Symantec Link in previous posts in this thread and then install and completely update Norton Antivirus 2003 (or another AV program).

If you can't get it and would like someone to do it for you, call 372-9400 and we'll get you scheduled in to remove the virus. We're charging $50 to remove the virus and apply patches. Norton 2003 is $35 extra.
