I'm just curious about this point. Did God really sacrifice his son, since he was raised from the dead and not left in mankind's grasp until a natural death as any other man? Seems to me to cheapen the aspect of the sacrifice/life since God took it back. Everyone else's son may die physically and stay that way, but not His? Perhaps, I'm over analyzing.

Another curiosity, what do we sacrifice to attain forgiveness? I was under the impression we are to only ask for it, unless in the asking we sacrifice our own sense of importance by humbly submitting it to less than God's will. The trick to remember is to make sure the last thing you do is ask for forgiveness, since we are always doing evil, otherwise we'll still have some sin on our souls when we die (JOKE).
