You say that he must be blind and unthinking in his beliefs because he is a Christian, otherwise he would come to your conclusion (because who could fail to do likewise, if they are sincere in their thinking?)

So, you cannot tolerate Christians because they do not think like you.(because a "good" Christian should live out his faith, the thing you cannot tolerate)


No. Not all Christians are blind and unthinking, but many are, and it is not difficult to spot one. Abba's Son appears to be of this category. The fact is that a man may find problems within the bible yet remain a Christian. Many Christians have a problem with this idea because they cling to the notion that the bible is the WORD OF GOD! But there are many very smart men who see the bible for what it is and remain true to their faith because Christ's teachings work for them. This I can respect.
