For all those who have ever asked "Where's a cop when you need one?", especially when driving.
True story -
I was driving to Blockbuster about 10PM and a sherrif is following me on Lynhurst, a 4 lane street on the west side of Indy. I was getting paranoid because he was doing that tailgating thing they do. Just then, a white van pulled out and started driving in the right lane. I caught up to him and he started weaving when I was beside him - we almost touched, he was so far over into my lane. I slow down and the deputy starts to follow him rather than me and after about a 1/2 mile of weaving he get pulled over. So, that is the one time I can say that there actually was a cop right there when he was needed when I was there.
It is such a rare event that I felt compelled to mention it
