Subject: ISP recommendations, please

We just got our first computer for our home and I was looking for recommendations for an Internet Service Provider - both positive and the ones to avoid.

You may be wondering, "How is he posting messages without an ISP?" We're using one of those freebie AOL discs, but I'm not particularly enamored with the price and I have no need for Instant Messaging that I know of.

I have heard terrible things about NetZero and Juno.

I used TLS for a while when we had borrowed my sister-in-law's laptop. We had no troubles but she said she's had trouble logging on.

To sum up, my parameters are: cheap and reliable.
