Especially if you have one of the few seasons which the story is being told the whole season (The Key to Time and Trial of a Time Lord). Doctor Who is one of the shows, which, although the stories are usually individual and can be watched on their own, also often continue themes/plots within a season or beyond. It makes for an interesting storyline, but it makes it harder to just watch a random story during a season you have not seen before.
