Ummm, Hate to inform you of something adilbrand, Your wife did not come from a low income family. Her parents actually made considerably more money than you. A union sheetmetal worker makes excellent money actually.

As for lack of Modesty as a lower class trait. yer silly.
different classes have DIFFERENT idea of what modesty is.
Lower class people look at upper class as having an incredible lack of modesty.
Lack of shirt = lack of modesty Is probably not the view of most. But yes, There is a bit of Practicality over modesty tends to be a working class trait. Who cares whether your buttcrack is showing when it's 110 degrease outside and you are soaked with sweat. But these people make good money. But inside their own culture they are still very modest. They wouldn't burp in the vicinity of a customer. They view some of the ways that upper class say or walk as rather immodest or rude.
