I have often thought of getting Direct TV, but I am concerned about not getting local broadcasts (in order to watch the Pacers and the Colts). I have heard that with satallites you don't get local broadcasts, local news, etc. I don't know this for a fact, because I have not investigated very far, just what I have heard. If you end up getting Direct TV or something, let me know what you think of it becuase our cable bill has been going up as well. ($37 per month).
