I will repeat that the bible is flawed and full of contradictions. Is this my opinion? Yes. If you don't agree with it, does that mean you are wrong and blinded by your own faith? The answer is yes. Any unbiased person could see that the book is flawed and far from being written by god, but you and he are biased by your faith and your fear of being wrong. If I am wrong, surely I will burn in hell, so really, mine is the harder road, isn't it? You want to believe that the book is perfect, which it clearly is not. What about the Song of Solomon? No Christian ever discusses this book because it is full of sex and love making and nothing whatsoever to do with moralizing and being told what to do and what not to do. What about Revelations? Can you tell me what it means? No. Neither can half the people who read it. Your god, if he intended to be understood, could, I should think (as a writer myself), have made the book clearer. For god's sake! He is GOD!!! Could he not have created a book that everyone could grasp? If he is all powerful, the answer must be yes!

I was, as I have said, a Christian for many years. My opinions are biased against Christianity, but not from any hate or anger towards it. I simlply realized at a very early age that the book was hogwash.

Let's put it this way. The proof is overwhelmingly against the book being the word of God. There is nothing to prove that it is save your faith that it is. This is as ridiculous as me gathering together a group of people to go into outer space with the faith that another planet must exist out there where we can live. I may be right, but if I am wrong, we've all lived a great farce and died believing a lie.

I will part with one question. Why do you choose to simply agree with everything a religion has to offer, rather than abandoning such ideas so that you might explore your own thoughts? Can't you make choices about right and wrong without being told how to live by a 5000 year old book written by people you've never seen in a country you've never even visited?
