It depended on how the return was sent in. If it was the rapid refund, it took 1-2 days. If it was just efiled, it took about 3-4 weeks, unless it was also direct deposited. That took about 2 weeks. If the return was mailed in, with no direct deposit, it could take around 6-8 weeks. If it was mailed in with direct deposit information (which is how I did mine), it takes around 4 weeks. That's all about the average. Sometimes the IRS would take a little longer on some to audit them. Or, if they catch a mistake, it could add a couple of weeks. If you just mailed yours in, you probably should be getting it pretty soon I would think. The tax book has a number you can call to check on it. 2 months is quite a while, you might want to call and check.
