Subject: Help needed

Hi guys
I really need some help, i am a HND student trying to write my dissertation but i need some help. I am looking into common injuries in polo ponies but i have come to a dead end. I have sent out a questionnaire to some players and had a response but i need some more help. Do any of you have ponies that have been injured or know where i can get some information? I am not looking at this from a cruelty point of veiw, i am genuinely interested in polo and enjoy learning about it. I have found out about the injuries to riders but nothing on injuries to the ponies.

Thank you for any help you can give me

Hi Nicola
our ponies are of the metal kind . Our commonest problem is a buckled wheel. Usually repaired by jumping on it or bending it on your knee ( not recommended on ponies !!!!)
Although we have the odd snapped chain and stripped sprocket.
And one of our heavier players managed to snap a bottom bracket spindle a couple of weeks ago !!!!
