Subject: Bike polo Celtic Tournament

Teams now finalised for event on Sat28th,Sun29th. May
ESGL Paris 2 teams , Sanvic Le Havre 2 teams , Glasgow, Johnstone ,Paisley and Dublin all taking part with William Matheson captain of world champions America ,guesting for Glasgow team. All games played at Miller street in Johnstone 10:00am till 6:00pm each day.All welcome to come along and see bike p[olo in action.

Celtic Trophy (28-29 May 2005)
The 1st Celtic Trophy was held in Johnstone (Scotland) by the Johnstone Wheelers Cycling Club 28-29 May 2005.
Eight teams from Scotland (Johnstone Wheelers, Paisley, Glasgow), Irland (Dublin), Paris Area (E.S. Gervais-Lilas 1 & 2) and Normandy (V.C. Frileuse-Sanvic 1 & 2) played matches of twice 20 minutes throughout two qualification groups of 4 teams each.

A victory gave 3 points, a tie 2 points, a defeat 1 point and a forfeith 0 point.
