Pat O'Connell is said to have systematically deceived several polo players of substantial amounts of money in Europe, Domenica, and North Africa.

affiliated with the USA Fugitive Task Force.

All information available,[picture,id #,finger
print, passport info,ss# if he has one, drivers info.,
ALIAS, etc],would be included into any international/national data base for investigation. Additionally, action would be taken on all warrants.

Please indicate the law enforcement agency and contact
telephone number for extradition...As a senior polo player of many years, Michael Solow would take a special interest in this situation.

MODUS OPERANDI

Introduces himself as: polo player/ polo pony buyer/ polo club developer/ investment guru/ buying agent/ hasher who's wallet/ everything was stolen/ is out of funds due to bank transfer not having arrived yet.

Contacted Munich H3: "I've been robbed on a train - can you help?"

Claims: boat skipper based in the West Indies; bass player with the band "Style Council" - mentioned "Live Aid" a lot!

Pat O'Connell was in Gibraltar/La Linea last week staying at the Rocamar Hotel in La Linea. Claiming to be a Ships Captain (he knew about enough about ships) Took several people in that I know of. Very slick. Still using the same methods I see, Waiting for wire transfer to arrive, Lost wallet, Out of checks etc etc... Would really like to see him again!!!. And my new Dk Green Triumph Bonneville Motorcycle.....

This slippery bugger can be found right now fleecing bars and offering non exsistant jobs to yachties in palma de mallorca. He is staying at the hostal apuntadores and drinking at the escape bar, corner bar, and the agua bar. He is one of the most cinvincing con men I have ever come accross.
Still posing as a yacht owner and ex member of the style councel, with property in the carribean.

The Man in question has been arrested by the Spanish National Police and is due to appear in court tomorrow (26th May). If anyone has any further information that may help the case please e-mail the above address.

The courtcase has just ended and Pat O'connell has been ordered to pay the debts within 48 hours. he has left an expensive watch with our lawyer as deposit. th national police did an international search and the only country that hat a warrant for arrest is Belgium (or one of it's islands in the Carribean). He left the courthouse crying! I think he will think twice about the next time he tries a scam on this island.

Daily Mail (UK Paper) flew over to cover the story, should be in print in the next few days, (thanks to Duncan Gardham, great journalist!!) Pat is Reported to be working now in the north of Mallorca (Alcudia area) but who knows. When confronted by the reporter his biggest fear was that if the story went to press, his family would find out exactly who he was & waht he does for a living. Things get worse--- he wrote a cheque for ten thousand (euros or dollars) to sponsor an 18 yr old to cross the Atlantic solo here in Mallorca at the Royal Yatch Club. Imagine the poor guy's reaction when he found out it was a con to gain confidence, after numerous TV/Press & radio interviews to say he had the money. There's more but the best thing is to read the article in the next few days or so in the Daily Mail.

Could you tell me if the Daily Mail article ever got printed? I was also contacted by Mr Gardham viz being ripped off on ebay for a non-existant laptop care of Mr O'Connell. I've tried to watch the Mail but not seen any report.
