Hi Shekkey,

I asked P.F. Sloan about Jim Webb's song, when I met him at
the Luminaire club in London recently. He said that he had first heard it some time after its release, and words to the effect that "it's a beautiful song...one of the best he ever wrote". Incidentally, the DJ played Webb's song, just before P.F. took to the stage. He played a stunning set that evening, accompanied by Duane Jarvis on lead guitar, and (from Procol Harum) Matt Pegg on Bass and Geoff Dunn on drums. This was one of the most impressive come back gigs that I've ever seen. I look forward to the next one.

All the best, John E
