Subject: Thank You For The Music PF

i will always remember "Footsteps in the Rain" and "The Laughing, Crying Man" as i heard them both in 1972 and i also remember being in a stereo store where a man by the name of Ed Seversen was working and he played me Raised on Records in the private stereo room of the hi fi store..and i never heard a voice like Phil's ever ....Phil's voice filled the room with sound and emotion that just made the sun shine even though it was a cloudy and rainy day....there are singing voices and then there is Phil's and i don't think i can honestly say i ever heard a song that he didn't sing really well...but i think what is really nice is that while we may be listening to hits of the sixties....Phil is listening to Beethoven and various piano interpretations of Beethoven's to bring into light the true origins of pop music and in going back to the true roots of pop music....i think his blend of classical music in a pop form is just great..I grew up with a mother who was a concert pianist and a father who was a songwriter/musician and DJ but i can honestly say that coming from an entertainment family (and a musical one at that)...Pf's adaptability from guitar to piano (self taught)...from pop to classic..deserves recognition from his fans....and i hope he does more in the future with classical tunes....
Thank you for the music...PF
