Fred died tonight!!! It was sooo sad, she died in Wes' arms. Angel couldn't cure her cause it would have meant that hundreds of thousands of others would die. That guy Knox caused it and Gunn had a part in it w/out knowing. Some evil god thing is in her body now. After next week we won't see a new Angel for 5wks, but get this...this happens every year and usually they show Angel reruns until the new ones start ....BUT the WB is being a smart ass...they're not going to show Angel at all. Instead they are going to show 2 hours of Smallville and run some poll so viewers can pick their fav or something. It's been said that they're doing this cause so many Angel fans have been sending e-mails and letters and they want to give them time to cool down. But, they're just trying to be smartasses. Smallville is no replacement--not even close.
