just because that person is "the love" doesn't mean that ur gonna be with that person. i mean how many of us know married people who aren't the ones for each other, but there still in love. and how do we know there really is the one for ne of us? maybe theres just a bunch of people were sopposed to care about-i don't know. but with buffy and spike they may not be the ones for each other- but that doesn't mean that there is no love between them.
