not trying to get religious on you but most people fall asleep reading the bible, you never know it might work! also the book of mormon has a load of graphic wars in it, I can't believe I'm telling you this but in one chapter there are two army's fighting and anyway everyone gets killed except the two generals on each side, they fight until they are exhausted and have lost all strength, but one of them raises his sword and chops the head of the other general, the headless general being filled with hate and revenge actually leaps up to attack the other general before falling down dead! I know how much you love war so you could try it.
