Just read the final ep synopsis - hellmouth does open - spike wears a mystical amulet which gives off rays of light that annihilate the bringers and closes the hellmouth - all of sunnydale destroyed and sob Spike too!!
Buffy tells spike she loves him he says she doesn't and to go enjoy the world! Gawd what a load of B&S - ends with her smiling at the hole thats been made... so finality with the Spuffy relationship and all sounds rather unemotional to me... anyone else want to comment? What are they thinkin?? All sounds rather season 4 end!! Sorry folks but I guess they've just petered out and aren't interested in this programme anymore...
